1st Quarter 2014 sales statistics for Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
2nd Quarter stats will be available August 12, 2014
Okaloosa County: Year-over-year Inventory has increased 21.4% while Average Sales Price has decreased 14.0%.
Walton County: Year-over-year Inventory has increased 29.5% while Average Sales Price has increased 11.6%.
As we know, increased inventory has a negative affect on price and so advantage goes to Buyer. However, Walton County (Destin is divided between both Okaloosa and Walton Counties) had an even higher increase in inventory but also had an increase in sales price. It will be interesting to see what the 2nd Qtr stats will show once released on August 15.
